Bought a new hitch for my '01 Suburban 2500. I was going to cut off the factory connector to hard wire a new setup because the factory 7-pin outlet wont fit in a standard mount. By the time I bought a new mount, a 7-pin outlet, and a 7-pin to 4-pin adapter, I was over $25. Luckily I found this setup before I actually cut into the harness. This adapter fits to the factory connection point before the actual 7-pin plug at the hitch. Makes for a clean install and the dual 4-pin/7-pin setup is nice. Haven't had it long, but it appears well made.
